A vast arcade once the mecca of electronics, now a maker hub with rooftop views.

Built in 1968 as Korea's first mixed-use residential-commercial building, its ninth-floor rooftop opens a view across downtown from Jongmyo shrine to Namsan. Shops selling film cameras and cassette decks still trade inside, and the retro crowd comes looking for them. When you have finished with the cameras, cross the footbridge to the second-floor deck of Cheonggye Sangga for a coffee.
