Jongno Seochon Village

West of Gyeongbokgung — looser and more lived-in than Bukchon.

Painter Jeong Seon and poet Yun Dong-ju lived here, and hanok, old shops and Tongin Market still mix along its lanes. Unlike touristy Bukchon, Seochon still moves at the pace of a neighborhood where people actually live.
