A reservation-only pass with a daily cap — the forbidden road reopened after 41 years.

Closed after the 1968 commando incident and reopened only in 2009, this pass runs between Bukhansan and Dobongsan. Daily visitor caps keep the forest whole, and the dirt road beneath Obong's five rock peaks repays the trouble of booking.
