A fourth-generation house going back to 1929 — the birthplace of crispy 'bassak' bulgogi.

It began as a small eatery in Suncheon, Jeolla Province, and moved up to face Yongsan Station in 1962. Grilling the bulgogi crisp in the kitchen — so train passengers wouldn't board smelling of smoke — became its namesake dish, now a Michelin Bib Gourmand fixture year after year.
