청계천

A stream through the heart of the city — paved over, then dug back out by Seoul.

An elevated highway once ran over the stream; from 2003 to 2005 it was torn down and the water uncovered, and the restored course now runs about 5.8 km from near Gwanghwamun to Seongdong-gu.
