The residence where King Gojong and Empress Myeongseong were wed.

The house where Heungseon Daewongun lived and where Gojong grew up before taking the throne. Called a palace, it is closer to a residence in scale, and the air of a moment when power was changing hands is legible in the size of the rooms.
