A garden grown over waterworks ruins — an island park on the Han.

Korea's landmark of regenerative design: the old filtration plant was never demolished, just overgrown into gardens. Ivy climbs the concrete columns, aquatic gardens fill the basins, and Seongsan Bridge catches the sunset — often called Seoul's most poetic park.
